Had a wonderful experience at this lovely place! Everyone in town recommended it so we had to check it out. Awesome breakfast food and coffee!

Awesome breakfast stop. Staff is really sweet and the food was very good. Be sure to ask for a specialty coffee when you visit. And do plan to visit if your in the area!

We love this place! Patty’s service is top notch she took great care of us. Felt as if we were old friends, such a magnetic person. Steve is a phenomenal cook we can’t wait to make the 6 hour round trip journey just for another plate of his spaghetti.Thank you so much for your hospitality. Truly a treasure on the Mississippi.

Known by name, great food ,wish there was a little more variety.

I think there was kitchen staff problems but none the less to be seated, order and then wait 25 minutes for breakfast is unacceptable. Place was packed so assuming it's not a common occurrence but won't go back again when traveling through Savana.

Like home made food? Like a low key, warm and friendly place to eat? Pool 13 is newly opened in downtown Savannah and it is terrific! Husband had special turkey dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy. Large portion and just what you want - tender turkey, potatoes that taste like potatoes and gravy that is not greasy, not pasty just delicious. I had skirted cheeseburger and tater tots. Skirted burger? Look it up, then order it. Absolutely perfect! Crunchy (not greasy) tots are a national treasure. Love this place and can't wait to try the breakfast. Wish I would have saved room for pie - another reason to come back. Heading to Galena? Out for a scenic drive? Stop here. Period.

My husband and I had a very good meal. We both had the biker burger it was very good. Highly recommended this place.

I keep giving it chances because I *want* to like it. Unfortunately, this visit sealed the deal for me. I won't be back. Went in for lunch. It was busy but not crazy busy. We ordered a salad and a wrap (with basically a salad in it). All cold stuff. Several tables were seated after us. Everyone else was served before we were. We were the last ones. We waited 45 minutes to get our food. Then, we get it and it just wasn't that good. Very average. The waitresses were very apologetic and nice but I was just annoyed by the time I left. Sadly, I won't be back.

The food was great! The only thing that I do not recommend is the French toast. The French was tough and it did not have a good flavor.

Super great waitress. Food was good but the wait was a bit long for not being busy and wanted to charge 50 cents more for the toast which is ridiculous.

Great food and great people! Dined here several times while hiking in NW Illinois. Never disappointed.

My friend & I came in here after closing during a severe polar vortex. Minus 30 degrees. The people were nice enough to let us come in & fire the grill back up even though it was after closing. We had a great meal & served with smiling faces. I was so pleased that there is still people who care & are so thoughtful - during a very cold day. Thanks for the great small town hospitality.

Heard they changed management, does not sound like for the better. Probably steer clear of this place.

I go here every time I’m in town for work purposes. The coffee is great (when I travel I try to find non chain coffee houses). The food is worth the money. They are so kind and friendly. The wait usually isn’t very long. I even take out of state upper management from clients here just because I like it so much. I’ve never had a problem, I find the wait times way better than other places I have been even In Chicago and the surrounding burbs. They accommodate when I’m on a short time window. I just let them know before I order and I never order anything that may take a long time, I like to be courteous of others who have ordered and are waiting. Having traveled for work all over the country I still choose Cafe Crumbles as one of my favs and you have to have at least 1 in range of any hotel or downtown area. I’m already planning to go as soon as I can tomorrow since I’m in town.

Very Good! I had the Chefs Salad which was generous, fresh and delicious. My husband truly enjoyed his cordon bleu burger.

Great food great staff

I love mom and pop breakfast eateries. This is just that with a gourmet latte bar. And regular coffee for those of us who aren't millennials. Check the whiteboard in the back for breakfast not on the menu.

The food was pretty good and it's a cute little place to eat. The downside is that they don't accommodate large groups well, I would definitely recommend calling them in advance if possible. They only had one cook and maybe 2 servers so the food came out 2 plates at a time and they forgot one person's order. They also didn't apologize for the wait or refill our drinks. The overall experience took almost 2 hours. I would be willing to go back and try it again sometime in a smaller group.

The food was wonderful. The service was excellent. And the dessert was to die for!

Had a Savanna Burger added a big slice of onion, cole slaw and fries came with it. There were other choices. Great burger, nice atmosphere, cole slaw was perfect, fries were very good. Price was very affordable. Waitress was helpful and refilled our drinks and was very pleasant. Bathroom is clean and roomy. My only complaint is that it closes at 2pm. A definitely relaxing atmosphere to have lunch. No complaints.

OMG family met there 7 of us. Service was excellent we all order something different and we got our food in a good time, it was excellent! Price was decent. If u want good quality food at a fair price u need to try this place!

I am in town with NASA for the Dale Gardner bridge dedication and I came in for dinner. The food was great but the service is impeccable. Everyone is so nice. Great comfort food. I came back for breakfast today and it was fantastic! I'll be back again tomorrow before i head home. Highly recommended! Mike.

Nice cafe, went to eat here before spending a day rock climbing. Got well fueled up for a great price.

Excellent food, large portions, reasonable prices. Its like real home cooking especially the deserts. Our favorite is breakfast!! Wish they were open earlier I'd eat here before work often!!!

On a Mississippi birding trip on Friday, stopped at Cafe Crumbles for lunch. I had the best ever vegetarian omelet. And the waitress was delightful.

If you want great, go somewhere else.. If you want fantastic this is your place to go!

Great food and lots of specials. Good service! Now open Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Reasonable prices too.

Very nice little place. We grabbed two grapes and a smoothie on the way through town and were quite satisfied with all of our drinks!
